Vintage Gamaguchi Bag -Seiran-
Vintage Gamaguchi Bag -Seiran-
Gamaguchi is a metal clasp, which has been often used for bags in Japan. It was brought from Europe to Japan during the 1870s, and the Japanese style Gamaguchi was created by the professionals at the time. Since then, it has always been loved by Japanese people to this day.
This bag, -Seiran- was originally made with the same silk fabric to match with the kimono about 20 years ago. The previous owner didn't have a chance to use it, so it is as good as new. The bag has gorgeous patterns that are slightly different on both sides, and the silk fabric feels soft and smooth.
On the inside, it has 2 small pockets and 1 perfectly functional zip pocket. Comes with a small mirror.
